Born in Toronto, Canada, Carly moved to Weston, Florida, with her mother and father when she was only 3. She attended private, catholic school her entire life and dreamed of leaving home for college. When things didn't go as planned, she enrolled at Florida International University in Miami, courtesy of her father Wayne Tighe. Carly was bitter about the local college experience until she discovered the city of Miami.
 
During Carly's freshman year in college, a new friend took her to a nightclub in Miami Beach for the first time, though she would rather have been at a frat party in Tallahassee. That night, Carly discovered the glamorous lifestyle she'd only seen in movies. Miami was filled with champagne, the world's best DJ's, bright lights and beautiful people.
 
A couple of months later, and a few new club friends and promoters, Carly was hooked on the scene. She was going to the hottest nightclubs and fanciest restaurants, living any other college girl's dream. Always thinking of her future and knowing that lifestyle won't last forever, Carly decided to find a way to make money while in the nightlife scene.
 
Shortly after, Carly applied for a VIP Hostess job at Club Space in Downtown Miami. She received a call the following day saying she was hired. Three years later, she has been promoted and still loves her job. She deals with high-end clientele from around the world, while listening to amazing music. Carly truly enjoys finding something relatable to with every customer.
 
Now residing in Sunny Isles, she has been encouraged to create the Miami Spectator. Carly feels as though she knows the best local and underground bars and lounges, restaurants and nightclubs in the city, and she wants to share with you.
